After the success of "The boarder cross" SHUNT commissioned Christopher Sims to produce a third show. The idea for this show had come several months before to Sims and he had been working on the idea for some time.

Along with the group the company Bluff and Bloomers was formed to start production and rehearsals. The team made up of a core group including Sims, Eden Williams (The London Leisure Pirates) Ellen Kyriacou, Rosie Jones and Glen Hughes. Along with them Jo Bowis joined to head the rehearsals and direction of the actors. This was the first time most of us had worked with Jo and she became an integral part of the team.

This idea had come to me early in 2008 and was almost a dream i had as a child to have a life size paper theater. Being a lover of the classics,18 century and its decadence and visiting Venice many times for the carnival it was a visual dream form me to actually create a show based around a paper theater.
Jo Bowis
Along with Jo Bowis, this was the first time Glen Hughes had work with us on a show. Glen being a set builder along with Rosie Jones brought the whole idea to a reality with some exceptional hard work in what ended up a short period of time to creat the visual idea.
Glen Hughes
Painting and designing the set was the talent of Rosie Jones along with the back drops and the 2D props. With out the hard work from Jones and Hughes the idea would have just remained a dream in my mind.
Rosie Jones
Having worked with Eden on many shows as well as in SHUNT over the past 2 years, it was essential to have him working on ideas, production and rehearsals. Being exceptionally devoted within a group and as an actor.
Eden William
Ellen, again who has worked on the past 3 SHUNT shows and on several others within the group. Ellen costume designed and sourced what all the actors needed to visually bring this show together. We had over 20 actors, a minimal budget Ellen managed to create costumes for the whole show.
Ellen Kyriacou
Christo Squier
The music we had running throughout the show was either performed by Christo or produced by him. Again within a very short period of time he submerged his talent within the idea and made the show much of what it became.

Along with the core team, many of the actors had worked with us previously and this has created an exceptionally devoted, strong and passionate team. With us all knowing each other personally, all tho at times it could be difficult, we all have exceptional respect, love, devotion and support within the group.
