Along with the theatre production I was very interested in attempting some form of filming installation. I discussed this with Stigner and we decided to produce some form of film. The idea was to show on 4 monitors repetitious motion images that would run in sequence of a loop. All 4 monitors were stacked and during some performances would run with a 4 second delay, and other times totally out of sequence.

Having shot the film with the support of Karl Grady one day before we opened the show, the editing was a major worry between my self and Stigner.

Both of us not being of motion film editing stock spent many hours and the only evening pulling the film together as well as attempting to finish of the set for the actual show. Having lost the editing once during rendering we managed to finally have a finished film.

This part of the production was extremely satisfying due to the extent of hard and blind work undertaken with just a strong idea keeping us going. Being a photographer dose not set any easy way for stepping in to the shoes of motion filming, just the desir to learn and turn still images in to motion images.

Finally we had a finished product, and a finished production. There was nothing more we could do except open the show with our selves and the other talented actors involved.

The show was extremely successful, far more than we could have imagine and with a hugh congratulations and encouragement from all at SHUNT . This made us all very proud to be applauded in such a way by such talented artists. Since finishing this show we have been asked to produce another that we are working on at the moment.

This production of the Correspondence would never have been possible with out the total support of SHUNT, and all the technical team who assisted me in all areas and the trust of Hanna Ringham who commissioned me.
Also Jack Stigner who was an inspiration and pulled together the show with me in all areas at very short notice. He was a total professional and with out would not have been possible to produce to such a high standard.
